After getting some chores out of the way this weekend, I got an opportunity to do some chassis work. The project is proceeding well.

I took the chassis out of the clamps, shaped the edges, and gave it an initial sanding. With this complete I got to work cutting and fitting all the metal blanks for the amplifier. This work is now complete.

Once I let everything come to the same temperature and make sure the fit is correct, I’ll get to work marking the metal for drilling. This should go relatively quickly. Then it will be final cleanup on the metal and I’ll get to work getting the chassis finished sanded, drilled, and finished. Lots of steps but they should go quickly.
