I had an opportunity to spend some time on the Marblewood upgrade amplifier. The mechanicals for this project are all coming together nicely.
With the chassis complete except for finishing, I managed to get all the metal for the amplifier measured and laid out for drilling.
It will probably take at least a couple of days to get all the drilling complete and everything fit. These are just the top, bottom and rear plate. The front plates for the power switch and volume control came from a blank I had made at Front Panel Express some time ago. This amp will bear the CascadeTubes moniker just like the Source Selection Preamp.
I also took the time to gather up the piece parts for the amp to make sure there wasn’t anything I needed to order. Luckily I had everything I needed.

The transformers and chokes are already in hand. Now if I can get some time in the workshop, the assembly should be able to start moving forward.
As always, questions and comments are welcome.

Listening to my modified Marblewood right now and really enjoying it. Looking forward to seeing the results of this redesign.
