I’ve been doing some straightening and rearranging in my office and I’ve decided to thin the heard a little. I have a Superior Instruments TV-11 emission type tube tester that I haven’t looked at in over a decade. Anybody interested?
As I said, I haven’t looked at this tester in at least 10 years and probably much longer. So I thought that it could become a project for someone else. Here’s what it looks like…
Here’s the external view.
And here is a close up of the front panel. Apologies for the weird distortion.
Physically the unit is in nice shape. But I do remember that I thought the power transformer in this unit was a little “iffy”. I used the unit a few times many years ago then put it away thinking I was going to a full restoration on the internals. But I never got around to it. It definitely needs to be carefully checked out before power is applied and most of the switches and potentiometers need a thorough cleaning. But it did function the last time it was used. And the data roll is complete and functions smoothly. I have a copy of the original documentation plus a supplement for additional tubes.
If anyone is interested please drop me an email. Make me an offer. I was thinking something like $100 plus shipping. The unit weighs somewhere between 10 and 15 pounds.
As always, questions and comments are welcome.

Even though I am not interested, I like the looks, especially the documentations. Good luck with cleaning up the office!
